Production log week 4 (Half term week)

•What progress did you make since your previous entry? n/a
This week is our half term week, and we have already completed our pre-production paperwork, so this week, we have dedicated to actually filming our advert. We traveled to the Olympic park in Stratford, and met 3 friends up there. We filmed our whole advert on Wednesday from 1pm - 3pm and got everything we wanted.

•What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

This week the only logistical challenge that we faced was that when we got to the Olympic park we did not find the area we wanted to film in, so we then had to film our introduction of the advert in all different locations, so that when it comes to editing we have many locations to choose the best one from. Also one of our cast did not turn up on time, so we had to then wait for 40minutes for her to turn up. We had no control on how long she would take so instead of doing nothing in this time, we walked around to find other places to film in which  looked visually appealing.

•What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?

This week the only technical challenge I faced was trying to make the introduction to out advert as engaging as possible with the use of different shot types, and the use of a pan. At first we used no camera movement, but towards the end we thought it will look good if the camera pans from the presenter and focuses on the Olympic stadium, which will be much more visually appeaing.

•What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

Before the end of next week, I hope to have uploaded all of my footage onto the macs, and have it all edited to a stranded that i am happy with, so that i can then start on my evaluation. I hope to finish editing my advert by friday 5th June.
